About Us

Rune's is still family owned and operated after more than 50 years. We have been serving Worthington, MN and the surrounding communities for several generations. The store was acquired in 1957 by H.J. Pieser and Joseph Morris who also had a store in Fairmont, MN. Shortly after taking over the business, they brought in two hard working and bright men, named Dick Frisch and Gene Barber, to manage the business. For the past decade, Dick's two sons Dave and Doug successfully continue to run the company.
